A Look At Theory and Simplicity Insight

Below are a couple of definitions regarding how we can associate hypothesis with anything. The first one explains the type concept we want to speak to on this Web site. It is my belief that this definition serves the purpose for understanding what Simplicity Insight is all about.

“Theory is a contemplative and rational type of abstract or generalizing thinking, or the results of such thinking. Depending on the context, the results might for example include generalized explanations of how nature works, or even how divine or metaphysical matters are thought to work. The word has its roots in ancient Greek, but in modern use it has taken on several different related meanings” – Wikipedia.com

For example, political theory is an ethical theory about the law and government. Often the term "political theory" refers to a general view, or specific ethic, political belief or attitude, about politics. – Wikipedia.com

You see, this Web site is not and never will be a scientific study of “PURPOSE”… because… we are not looking for absolutes about everything… that is totally impossible.

What we are aiming for, is an understanding that “Simplicity on this side of Complexity” is not worth a fig, however “Simplicity Insight on the far side of Complexity” combined with purpose and action has great worth… tons of it!

We felt the need to explore the concept of Simplicity Insight; in case I have a visiting skeptic or two…hopefully this exploration will keep them from setting this concept aside as mere philosophy and not take it seriously.

However, I will admit that some elements of this concept may be hypothesis in reality (Now that sounds like a contradiction in terms… Huh!)—or at least borderline speculation.

Nevertheless the fundamental principles base on natural law, finding true north regarding body, heart, mind, spirit, doing the right thing—the right way—for the right reason, knowing “Simplicity on the Far Side of Complexity” exist and being able to see a future state of existence… if you will, a “Culture of Interdependence Fixed on Purpose”— all of this is certainly not speculation.

While theory in my opinion is very useful in turbocharging our creative imagination and “Simplicity” takes on a new meaning when we add the word “Insight”. I feel it is the purposes of this Web site to use some words and concepts that may appear to be hypothetical in nature.

However, as Einstein advocates in his quote above… we are working to see that the facts fit the concept … on the other hand as Emerson encourages action over Theory… our strategy is to use facts and action to discover Simplicity Insight and Purpose on the far side of complexity!
